If, as we study, reflect and meditate, our ego grows bigger and bigger,
our patience becomes more fragile than a baby’s skin,
and we feel even more irritable than the demon Tsang Tsen,
these are sure signs that our study, meditation and reflection
have taken the wrong direction.
